September 23 – Series Events – Cancer Caregivers Support Sharing and Social Resource Introduction

To take care of cancer patients, the family’s manpower, material resources, and economy will be greatly challenged; if care responsibility is concentrated on one person, mental and physical pressure may lead to exhaustion and collapse. In particular, family caregivers do not have professionalism. In the case of training, there is no rotation, and after a period of care pressure, it is easy to enter the so-called “depletion state.” This will not only affect the caregivers themselves but also affect the quality of care. (Caring for Cancer Support Share) The workshop hopes to learn from each other through sharing and exchanging experiences with each other, and care and support each other. Psychological and substantive assistance to reduce stress, improve the quality of care and caregiver’s physical and mental health.

In addition, in addition to caring for the patient itself, caregivers often have many issues relating to insurance, social welfare, and even seeking home care helpers. We also invite volunteers who understand the welfare resources to explain it.
